Steve Schnapf, who founded the “Farm To Table” franchises in New York, Illinois, and North Carolina, is a prominent figure in the organic farming world.
But in a recent interview with Recode, Schnapfs comments about his business were not flattering.
Recode: So Steve, when you first started selling organic produce, you had to go through a lot of hurdles to get there.
But you’re now the owner of more than 20 organic farms and you’ve sold more than 3,000 tons of organic produce.
And you say that you don’t have to worry about those problems anymore.
Steve Schnapschaf: No, I’ve never had to worry.
And I’ve made the most of it.
And it’s been great.
I’ve been able to do the things I’m passionate about, and I’ve done them for years.
I love it.
I’m so happy.
