LEWIS FARM, Mich.
— A farmer has been banned after he reportedly sold eggs at a Michigan chicken farm girl’s birthday party.
The Michigan Department of Agriculture says the man allegedly sold eggs for about $60 per dozen at the May 2 event at the Loves Farms Chicken Festival.
A source told ABC News that the man has since been arrested.
The festival’s organizers say the man was arrested after a complaint from a local resident.
Loves Farms says it is not involved with the festival and has no plans to sell the eggs.
