A new video series has emerged on YouTube featuring children in their early 20s riding a tractor, a device that can be found in many American homes.
The video series, titled “The Journey of a Teenager Riding a FarmTractor,” has attracted nearly 4 million views and nearly 300,000 comments in the last 24 hours, according to the creators of the site, Kids-Ride.com.
“A lot of people have been saying they want to learn to ride this thing, but they don’t have the knowledge to do it,” said Chris, a 16-year-old from Westlake, California.
“I just wanted to show people I can.”
The series was originally recorded by an Oregon-based company, and is currently being promoted by Kids-ride.com to help teach kids the basics of farming.
“When we started, we had this concept that farming was a lot like playing with toys,” said Todd, a 17-year old from Westbury, California, who was born on a farm in South Dakota.
“It was a toy, but you really had to know how to operate it.
We wanted to make sure the kids were learning how to farm and that the farm was the center of their lives.”
The video, “The Farm: A Journey to a Farm,” features a farm tractor on a landscape in Westlake where kids can be seen riding around in the back of the vehicle.
The farm tractor is often used by kids who want to work in agriculture, but the real challenge is getting kids to farm, according Toghi Singh, a Farm Education and Training Specialist at Kids-ride.
Singh, who has worked with a variety of farming programs in the U.S., said the focus of the program is not to teach the farm tractor skills.

We try to get them to understand the farm as a whole and understand what it’s like to live on a farming family.”

The Farm’s website describes the Farm as “a family of four who work together to farm their way out of poverty.
With the right support, they will be able provide for their family, feed their family and help make a better life for themselves and their children.”
The site also states that the Farm has helped more than 1 million families in the United States.
“We think it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to share their story, learn about farm life and see the benefits of a sustainable economy,” said Jim Miller, the executive director of Farm Education.
“Kids-ride is trying to empower kids to understand farm families, farm management and farming, and to be involved in farming for a living,” he added.
“They want to see more kids getting involved and seeing what the farm is like, and how they can help out in the community.”
