The United States’ 13 most populous states have all been awarded the distinction of having the highest per capita income.
The state with the highest income in the nation is Louisiana, which was ranked #1 in terms of average per capita GDP, and #2 in terms and average income per capita.
Louisiana has a population of more than 1.1 million, but is actually only home to a little over 1,000 people.
The state has some of the highest median household income per head in the country, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and its median home value is more than twice that of neighboring states.
The state’s population density is one of the lowest in the United States, with only 10 percent of the state being comprised of smaller counties.
The majority of the city of Baton Rouge, however, is comprised of larger metropolitan areas, such as New Orleans, which has a median household population of nearly 4 million.
While Louisiana’s median household incomes are higher than that of the average American, the state is still struggling to provide a stable, secure and safe environment for its residents.
The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DOHHS) reported in December that nearly three million people in the state were infected with the coronavirus.
Of those, more than 7.4 million people were infected in Louisiana, according the state’s website.
The number of new cases was estimated at over 8 million.
